And now she’s a werecat. Or, well, she’s a cat that can turn into a human. What’s the term for that?

The term “werecat” would not be correct, because “were” come from the old English meaning “man”. The old English for a woman was “wif” from which the modern word “wife” comes from. I am not sure if “wifecat” would be a very popular term though. The word “queen” comes from the old English “cwen”. How does ther term “cwencat” or “kwencat” or maybe even “gwencat” sound?
(It’s amazing what a few minutes looking on Wikipedia will do.)
Wifkit? Sounds cool at least
