Hey everyone

My name is David Herbert. You may remember me from such webcomics as Living With Insanity and Domain Tnemrot. But I’m here to talk to you about the worst thing that can happen to a creator: Dead Computer.

I’ll let Michael tell you guys:

For the past 3-4 months, I’ve been having troubles with my laptop. It wouldn’t start right, and I’d have to restart it a lot to get it to work.
Well this morning it’s decided it’s had enough and committed suicide.

So yeah, this comic’s going to be on hiatus until Michael can get a new laptop. Those things are pretty expensive, so it may take a while. But Michael wanted to make sure you guys knew what was up, so that’s why I’m here.

It’s sad, I really like this comic. I always miss it when it goes on hiatus.

Anyway, that’s the situation and I hope you guys will come back when it does.

This Christmas will be the first with Cat. And on Friday, will be our first Christmas shopping trip. And I am dreading it. I have no idea what to expect.
I hated Christmas shopping while I was single. Doing it with a partner could be way worse.

As you can tell by the last Authorsode, and this one, that I am trying out new styles.
I’m trying to go for simple, yet detailed.
Hard, yet soft.
Evil, yet good!
In other words, I have no idea what I’m doing!
But, enjoy yo!

Ian got the Xbox 360s new toy, the Kinect, at the midnight opening. There was no way in hell I was paying £200+ for a glorified camera.
I watched him play with it when I awoke.
He started with Kinectimals.
It looks cutesy, kiddy, and super gay!

…

I now want a blue tiger.

He then got me up and playing Kinect Adventures. Which I can admit was pretty fun! Pretty limited for now though. I hope they bring out some DLC with new games soon.

He also got Your Shape Fitness Evolved.
I admit, multiple times, I am out of shape. I used this for an hour, and boy did my muscles kill! I was sweating buckets. But it felt really good!
Until 24 hours later, as in as I’m writing this.
My muscles are killing me. I cannot move properly, without every limb, and myself, screaming in agony.
I need to keep it up though!

So, so far my thoughts on Kinect… Better than my expectations, and I cannot wait to see what they do with it!

I’ve been reading a manga called Rosario+Vampire, and then started playing Pokemon HG again. Ian was talking about who on his team could learn flash… And thus this comic was born.

Yes, I am still alive!
My apologies for not updating, I’ve been having trouble putting electronic pen to laptop screen. Everything I did, previous to this comic, turned out like crap! I think I’ve come down with VGCats syndrome.

Anyone else using the Fable III:Kingmaker app on their smartphones?
If you haven’t heard of it, it’s a GPS based “game”, where you plant flags for one of 2 factions; The Royals and the rebels. Planting these flags gains you gold, in which you can send to your Fable III hero when the game is released.
Every so often, a treasure horde will appear on the map, and the first hundred people who can “claim” the horde, gets a huge amount of gold.
Yesterday, while in Milton Keynes, two of these hordes appeared on my map.
I spent about half an hour trying to find them.
They are meant to appear in GAME and GameStation shops…
And yet I found one in a carpark… Right next to a bin.
Weird place for a treasure eh?

Sorry this took soo long. As you all should have known, for the past month, I’ve been working nights at V Fest.
And now that I’m home, I have a god awful cold. My whole body feels like it’s been hit by a bus! I had to pretty much force myself to finish this authorsode, instead of staying in bed like I want to.

Back to another of Davids “storybased” comics… I don’t think this’ll last too long, given he’s only sent me 3 scripts for this one… But when it’s all finished, I think it leaves it open for a running joke!

If you haven’t seen it announced on my Twitter already, I was asked to create a webcomic for a popular gaming based site called Gaming Lives.

I had way to much fun drawing this one!
The idea for this one has been stuck in my head every since last week, when for some reason I found myself watching Tim Burton film clips on YouTube.
I’ve never actually like the film myself, but it does lead to some rather funny skits I have seen, and a very bad porno that I refuse to see!

I don’t seem to have a good track record when it comes to finding people who actually read my comic, as proven Edd way back at comic #79.
This comic guest stars my supervisor Dave, who actually (surprisingly) does actually read, and enjoy, my comic.

Also, I am still currently working at the MK Bowl for Prodigy, and still accepting guest comics!

What you see above, is a working in progress poster I am planning on selling when it’s finished.

I am requesting guest comics.
Starting from the 16th July, I will be working night shifts at Prodigy. And then as soon as that job has finished, I will be going away to work V Fest.
This gives me the chance to do a proper buffer of comics (especially since David has emailed me a load of scripts already).

So yeah, as I said, I am requesting guest comics to fill the void.
